Bold Magazine Interview https://boldjourney.com/news/meet-lorenzo-luensin-piccone/

We were lucky to catch up with Lorenzo “Luensin” Piccone recently and have shared our conversation below.

Lorenzo “Luensin” , we’re thrilled to have you sharing your thoughts and lessons with our community. So, for folks who are at a stage in their life or career where they are trying to be more resilient, can you share where you get your resilience from?
I think I absorbed it when I was in my mother’s womb. Being a strong and tenacious woman, of the sign of Leo, she gave me a fighting spirit which I must say comes in handy in times of difficulty.

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?
I am an Italian Multi Instrumentalist Singer and Songwriter living in Nashville. Why Nashville? because I recorded my latest album here at RCA studios, it’s called Wanderings and it has Steve Cropper as a special guest. My first album is called Soul Searching, the title summarizes my vision of music, a gift that was given to us from heaven and which (I speak for myself) I see as one of the processes and methods of personal evolution and self-discovery same. I see music without boundaries of genre or time, obviously in a metaphorical sense but the point of view remains the same. I worked for 5 years in a factory where all my colleagues had been doing the same things for maybe 40 years and after I resigned to make a living from music I started doing the same too so I started studying other stringed instruments.
I play Guitar, Banjo, Slide Guitar, Mandolin and I sing. I have new songs for another album but I am waiting to find the right moment to record it.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
1Humility and wanting to learn from everyone and different genres of music. 2Having a dream
3Love what you do

An advice? uhh someone needs to give an advice to me also ahah. I’ll say listen to real records and turn off the phone much as you can.

One of our goals is to help like-minded folks with similar goals connect and so before we go we want to ask if you are looking to partner or collab with others – and if so, what would make the ideal collaborator or partner?
I’m looking for collaborators to write songs especially the lyrics and people who take music seriously and who love it as I love it hoping that they want to create good music for our present and future
